Crowes Keep Going
The Black Crowes have extended their U.S. tour, with dates now stretching well into October.
The band has been on the road since April, spending much of the summer with Robert Randolph & The Family Band and Drive-By Truckers in the support slots.
No opening acts have been named for the new leg, which will begin August 13 at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colo.
The new dates will keep the Crowes rocking through the East Coast and Midwest in September, with concerts booked in Arizona, California and Georgia the following month.
A lone November gig is set for Castaic, Calif., on the 12th.
The Crowes will release a two-disc set titled Lost Crowes this month. The package contains tracks from Tall and Band, two abandoned albums the group recorded in the 1990s.
