New Numan
Synth-pop/industrial pioneer Gary Numan has announced his first U.S. tour in five years.
The 18-show trek, in support of Numan’s new album, Jagged, will launch July 31 at Detroit’s Majestic Theatre.
The British musician will hit Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Chicago and more before heading through Colorado to the West Coast. The tour is set to finish at House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif., August 23.
The long-awaited Jagged was released in March on Numan’s own Mortal Records in the U.K. and Metropolis Records in the U.S. The disc follows 2000’s Pure, which he supported with tours of Europe and North America in 2001.
