The Devil’s Reject
The month-and-a-half-long tour will launch March 17 in Jacksonville, Fla. Zombie will appear at the Global Gathering event in Miami the next day, then head up the East Coast with support act Lacuna Coil.
The tour will make a stop at New York City’s Nokia Theatre Times Square March 28, the day Zombie’s new album, Educated Horses, drops on Geffen Records.
Zombie – whose 15 years with Geffen make him the longest-running active artist on the label – will continue through Canada and across to the West Coast, wrapping in Mesa, Ariz., April 27.
The ex-White Zombie frontman’s new band comprises guitarist John 5 (ex-Marilyn Manson), longtime bassist Blasko and drummer Tommy Clufetos (ex-Alice Cooper & Ted Nugent).
Zombie toured late last summer with support from Mastodon, but previously hadn’t hit the road since Ozzfest 2002. In
the interim, he focused on making two feature films, “House of 1,000 Corpses” and its sequel, last year’s “The Devil’s Rejects.”
