World Of Lucinda
Country-folk veteran Lucinda Williams has a new tour on the books, starting with a series of West Coast shows and moving east through March.
The Grammy winner will kick things off in Eugene, Ore., February 17 and play theatres down the coast to Santa Barbara, where she’ll rock the Arlington Theatre with George Jones February 27. Jones will also appear in Oakland.
Then it’s on to Boulder, Colo., through the Great Lakes region and out to Pennsylvania before heading south.
The Louisiana-born singer/songwriter will show she hasn’t forgotten New Orleans with a gig at the city’s House of Blues March 18, followed by three shows in Nashville to wrap things up March 20-22.
Williams says she plans a new studio album this year to follow 2003’s World Without Tears.
