Keep On Moving
Hasidic reggae pioneer Matisyahu is ready to embark on his first tour of 2006, with more than five weeks’ worth of dates booked across the U.S.
The tour launches in Phoenix February 4. Accompanied by drummer Jonah David, guitarist Aaron Dugan, and bassist Josh Werner, Matisyahu will hit at least 15 cities before the tour wraps in Houston March 12.
Two shows are scheduled prior to the tour – NYC’s Madison Square Garden with O.A.R. January 14, and a headlining set in Columbus, Ohio, the following day.
Last year was a busy one for the rising star. He released two albums – his studio debut Shake Off The Dust … Arise as well as Live At Stubb’s – and toured relentlessly in Europe and North America, even visiting Israel for four shows in December. To top it off, he and his wife had a son.
Matisyahu’s sophomore effort, Youth, is set for a March release.
