Korn’s Ready
Dates are starting to come in for a new Korn tour, timed to coincide with the release of the band’s new album.
The Bakersfield, Calif.-born group will play New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom November 29, a little more than a week before its seventh full-length, See You On The Other Side, hits stores.
A December 3 gig is booked at Myth in Maplewood, Minn., and five dates in the middle of the month span California, Florida and Texas.
The group played a couple of European shows this summer but hasn’t done a major tour since wrapping a North American trek last December.
Korn released a video last month for the album’s first single, “Twisted Transistor.” The seven-and-a-half-minute “mini-movie” features rappers Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit and David Banner portraying the band members.
