The band came out of nowhere earlier this year, selling more than 17,000 copies of its debut album through its own Web site.

No longer restricted to mailing discs out of its Brooklyn apartment, the band has since inked some distribution deals and has been touring the U.S. with The National since early September.

Assorted North American headlining dates are scheduled through the rest of October, and the band will follow up with its first U.K. tour in November.

CYHSY’s British jaunt will begin November 15 in Leeds, England, with seven shows on the schedule. The tour wraps in London on the 22nd.

A New Year’s Eve show at Irving Plaza in New York City is already booked, with “very special guests” promised.
