Prince Reschedules Chicago Dates
Prince has rescheduled four dates of his ongoing tour, all of which take place at Chicago’s Allstate Arena.
He and his New Power Generation band played the first of five planned Windy City gigs June 25, but canceled the next night’s show as well as three set for the following week.
The shows were postponed due to a death in the family of NPG drummer John Blackwell.
The June 28-30 shows have been rescheduled for July 22-24, and the show originally scheduled for June 26 will take place August 3.
Prince is touring behind Musicology, which dropped in March. The current itinerary stretches into mid-September.
