The double album Abattoir Blues / The Lyre Of Orpheus is set for release in September, and features Cave along with Bad Seeds Mick Harvey, Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Conway Savage, Jim Sclavunos, Warren Ellis and James Johnston.

They’ll support the album on tour in Europe beginning November 6 in Glasgow, with stops planned in the U.K., France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Austria.

No North American plans have been announced, but Stateside fans shouldn’t fret as Cave and the Seeds rarely leave them out of the fun. The band last visited in June 2003, supporting the Nocturama album.
