He’ll start at home in Florida with an April 22 show at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa. From there, he’ll travel the South and Midwest through August 31, when he plays Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center.

Don’t be surprised if the schedule fattens up a bit, as Buffett’s summer tours often stretch well into the fall season. The papers have been abuzz with rumors regarding the possibility of a pair of September Buffett shows at Boston’s Fenway Park.

Buffett’s new album, License To Chill, should be surfacing around the time the tour gets rolling. The title track, a duet with Kenny Chesney, appeared in February on a CD-ROM included with the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
