Pieces Of Jewel
Folk/pop songstress Jewel has revealed a stack of new dates for her upcoming U.S. tour. Although she won’t be making any stops in her native Alaska, she will be hitting venues across much of the lower 48 starting March 11 in Bozeman, Mont.
Prior to the North American stretch, Australia will host the singer/songwriter for an eight-show run in mid-February.
The U.S. tour runs through May 16, when she’ll wrap at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. Although no West Coast dates have been announced, she will appear in Hollywood February 7. She plays the House Of Blues that evening as part of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation pre-Grammy benefit series.
She played mostly acoustic shows last fall after bassist T-Bone Hannon passed away unexpectedly in September. No word yet on whether she’ll have a full band this time around.
