Opening Dates On Meat Loaf Tour Canceled
Meat Loaf has canceled the first three dates of the U.S. leg of what is his world tour after undergoing emergency intestinal surgery June 10.
According to his publicist, the surgery was routine and Meat Loaf is expected to make a full recovery.
The dates affected are June 22 in Saratoga, Calif., June 24 in Boise, Idaho, and Redmond, Wash., on the 25th. Tickets to those shows will be fully refunded and make-up dates may be forthcoming.
Once he’s back on his feet and on the road, Meat Loaf is expected to tour for 15 months, crisscrossing the globe and playing amphitheatres, festivals and arenas supporting his new album, Couldn’t Have Said It Better. He says this is his last world tour.
North American dates are now scheduled to begin June 27th in Southern California and a European trek commences in October.
