Coldplay Gives Back
Whether it’s fair trade or human rights, Coldplay are quite vocal about their support of charity groups. Now, as part of Amnesty International’s Music For Human Rights campaign, Coldplay are auctioning off some tickets to benefit the cause.
Tickets to six shows on the band’s U.S. tour are up for grabs. Fans can bid to get their name and a guest’s placed on the band’s guest list through Amnesty’s Web site at amnestyusa.org/musicforhumanrights. Follow the links and you’ll soon end up at eBay where the bidding wars have already started.
The auction ends May 15 and will benefit Amnesty International, which will have an information table set up at some of Coldplay’s gigs.
But wait! There’s more! After the 15th, Amnesty will then auction off a copy of Coldplay’s latest album, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, signed by the entire band.
