Branch’s tour runs from May 14 through June 4, after which she’ll hop aboard the Dixie Chicks train as support for the girls’ arena tour.

Sponsoring the tour is none other than hair products company ThermaSilk. That could explain the big deal that’s being made over Branch’s new haircut. Apparently, Los Angeles stylist Luke O’Connor created different hairstyles for her using new ThermaSilk products.

There’s a contest going on at thermasilkhair.com. Hopefuls can register for a chance to receive a special “girlfriend getaway” to New York City, which includes a private meeting with Branch and a makeover from Luke O’Connor.

Fans can sample the fruits of Branch’s labor June 24 when her new album, Hotel Paper, is released. Meanwhile, they’ll just have to be content to listen to the single “Are You Happy Now” as it spins on the radio.
