Bad Seeds
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are returning to North America. Their originally scheduled tour was derailed last year due to the events of September 11. The itinerary has the band starting things off in Los Angeles on April 16. They’ll play 17 shows around North America through May 8, including two-night stands in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York.
Those in possession of a ticket for the September/October shows are encouraged to contact ticket outlets for information on whether or not an exchange is necessary.
Although Cave has played in the States as recently as spring 2001, his band has not joined him for a tour on U.S. soil since 1988.
This outing is in support of their eleventh album, No More Shall We Part. The band – Cave (vocals), Mick Harvey (guitar), Blixa Bargeld (guitar), Martyn P. Casey (bass), Warren Ellis (violin), Conway Savage (keys), Jim Sclavunos (percussion), and Thomas Wydler (drums) – have already started work on a new album.
