Billy & Elton Postpone Tour
The remaining dates for Billy Joel and Elton John’s Face To Face tour have been postponed. Joel had taken sick around the second week of March with laryngitis and has since been forced to pull out of the tour.
Joel is “currently under medical supervision and has been diagnosed with an inflamed vocal chord, which requires a sustained period of rest,” said a post on his official Web site.
Shows affected start March 18 in New York at Madison Square Garden and run through April 11. Included is a four-night stand at the Nassau Coliseum, one show at the FleetCenter in Boston and three at the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey.
According to the Nassau Coliseum’s official Web site, the two stars are planning on rescheduling the set of shows for sometime in September or October – after John returns from his European tour.
Tickets will be honored for rescheduled dates.
