For those not tuned into the Brit rock scene, Starsailor may not catch your eye right away. But pay close attention because if the critics and press have anything to say about them, they’ll be at the top of the charts in no time.

The indie quartet released their debut album, Love Is Here, last year to widespread critical acclaim. They were quickly hailed as “Britain’s best new band” and subsequently hit the road. A sold-out headlining U.K. tour in the spring helped boost their name in their homeland and a following support slot on The Charlatans UK Stateside tour – which just commenced at the end of January – helped get the lads some U.S. recognition.

Starsailor were in the running for Best British Newcomer at this year’s Brit Awards, but were passed up in favor of Blue.

After wrapping things in the U.S., the guys will head out to Germany for the Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals, May 18 and 19 respectively.
