Macy Gray Dates Off
Macy Gray has canceled her brief American club tour citing conflicts with “commitments in Europe.” The trek was supposed to start in Miami on November 30, making stops in Orlando, Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, Houston, and Scottsdale, Ariz., through mid-December.
All eight shows have been called off and will not be rescheduled.
Gray’s New Year’s Eve show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, however, is still on. Tickets range from $125-$300, with the higher price including a buffet dinner.
The mini-tour was to be in support of Gray’s sophomore album, The Id. Released in September, The Id debuted at No. 11 on Billboard‘s album chart.
Earlier this summer the eccentric singer joined Dave Matthews Band to road test her new material.
