According to tour producer Norman Miller, “The events of September 11 have impacted many aspects of our lives. Concert tours have been affected in a major way by this tragedy and regrettably, this negative affect has led to the cancellation of the Child Of The Promise tour.”

Artists scheduled to perform on the Broadway-style musical depicting the birth of Christ were Rebecca St. James, Debby Boone, Mark Schultz, Carman, Russ Lee, Michael Passons, Jody McBrayer, Cherie Paliotta, and Janna Long.

The Child Of The Promise was written by Christian musicians/authors Michael and Stormie Omartian.

Last year’s outing featured performances by Steven Curtis Chapman, Crystal Lewis, Twila Paris, Wayne Waston, Russ Taff, Clay Crosse, and Rachel Lampa.
