Slipknot Rebounds
Two weeks after canceling their fall headlining tour, Slipknot has lined up a few dates for late October – early November.
The new itinerary starts October 24 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and sees the band visit Dayton, Ohio; Washington, D.C.; Boston, New York City and Philadelphia.
Slipknot canceled its initial October tour because of exhaustion. The announcement came just a few dates after the schedule had been released.
The band’s unrelenting performance schedule had reportedly taken a toll on at least oneof the masked men, according to the group’s label, Roadrunner Records. An unidentifiedmember of Slipknot collapsed at Los Angeles International Airport and was ordered byhis doctor to stay off the road and get some rest.
The group took advantage of the down-time by working on songs for a new album, according to a notice on their Web site.
