The Pretenders are supporting Young through a recently added third night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver September 22, but won’t be on the subsequent leg.

Instead, Young has called on two old pals to join him on stage as openers. Sheryl Crow is set to open the September 24 show at the Blockbuster Desert Sky Pavilion in Phoenix, and Beck is on tap for the remaining dates.

In other Young news, while his camp hasn’t released any new information regarding the annual Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, Calif., a statement on Beck’s Web site says he’ll be there October 28 and 29.
