Joan Osborne Returns With Tour, CD
If good things come to those who wait, Joan Osborne should have another smash on her hands.
It has been five years since her acclaimed debut album, Relish, and she’s now got a new record company, Interscope, and a new record called Righteous Love due to hit stores on September 12.
She’s also ready to hit the road again, with a club tour firmed up through September and early October.
She’ll kick it off September 1 at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, N.Y. where she’ll open with Live before traveling cross-country to appear at the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle September 4.
Osborne will spend about half the outing on the West Coast, with stops in Portland, Vancouver, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles before heading east and winding up the tour at Higher Ground in Winooski, Vt., on October 6.
