Limp Bizkit Tour Delayed
The start of Limp Bizkit ‘s free Napster-sponsored tour has been pushed back a week. Interscope Records confirmed that the tour will now begin July 11 in Detroit, followed by gigs in New York and Boston.
The Chicago and Minneapolis shows will have to be rescheduled, and the previously announced stops in Dallas, Denver, Seattle, and San Jose, Calif., as well as a three-night stand at the Hollywood Palladium, are no longer confirmed.
Perhaps the delay will give the promoters and venues a chance to come up with ticket distribution strategies. Bizkit frontman Fred Durst said fans will be admitted to the Back To Basics shows on a first come, first served basis.
That may sound like a great deal for concertgoers, but the folks charged with crowd control probably aren’t too excited by Durst’s generous offer.
