Creed Cancels One Gig, Postpones Another
Creed‘s June10 concert at General Motors Place in Vancouver was canceled 45 minutes before showtime because singer Scott Stapp was ill.
The band had to postpone its June 12 performance at Key Arena in Seattle in order to give Stapp time to recuperate. “He has a little bit of a bacterial infection and a little bit of laryngitis,” the band’s booking agent, Ken Fermaglich, said. “He just needs some time to rest and let the antibiotics work.”
The Vancouver date will not be rescheduled but the Seattle show has been moved to June 21.
The June 13 concert at Portland, Ore.’s Memorial Coliseum was up in the air Monday evening. “We’ll see how Scott’s doing on show-day,” Fermaglich said. “The band is in Portland but we won’t know [if the show will happen] until that day.”
Pollstar will post any changes to Creed’s schedule as soon as they are announced.
