Blake Shelton’s Atlantic City Freebie

Blake Shelton will perform in a free concert on the “free” beach at Atlantic City in July.  If you’re looking for a reason to visit “America’s favorite playground,” this is it.

Presented by Atlantic City Alliance, “Do AC” and Live Nation, Shelton’s no-charge show  sponsored by Pepsi will take place July 31.

The performance by “The Voice” coach is part of a summer-long “Do AC” campaign promoting the city’s famed Boardwalk.  The promotion includes free entertainment daily and one of the largest Fourth Of July fireworks displays.  Jimmy Buffett played a free gig at the beach last year to open Margaritaville At Resorts.

Shelton’s concert will be supported by services by the City of Atlantic City and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

Of course, a free show such as Shelton’s will have some kind of mechanism in place to make sure the multitudes don’t overrun the location.  Visit DoAtlanticCity.com for information on how you can join Blake on the beach.
