Josh Groban’s Summer Plans
But for now you can catch Groban on the big screen at your local theatre. The operatic pop star appears in “Muppets Most Wanted” as a maximum security prisoner, locked up for “unspeakable crimes” in a Russian gulag.
Groban recently talked to Nerdist.com about working with Kermit the Frog and the gang.
“They are my childhood heroes,” Groban said. “To be on set with them, to see them live and in person, to be able to sing with them and then be able to see the artistry of puppeteering [brought] to life was really inspiring and incredible to see.”
In the film Groban has the chance to use his musical skills to his advantage, singing to get his freedom. You’ll have to watch “Muppets Most Wanted” to see what happens to Groban, Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppets.
