Gavin DeGraw & Matt Nathanson Team Up
DeGraw is supporting his fifth studio album. Released in October, Make a Move includes the hit single “Best I Ever Had.” Entertainment Weekly praises the album’s “intricate piano hooks and his seductive, gravelly voice.” The magazine adds, “The title track is terrific, as is ‘Who’s Gonna Save Us.’”
Nathanson also put out a new LP in 2013. Last of The Great Pretenders was named USA Today’s “album of the week” when it came out last July. The album includes the tune “Heart Starts,” which is the theme to the Lifetime TV series “Celebrity Bucket List.” The singer/songwriter was featured on the show earlier this month as he got a chance to meet and play guitar with Chris Isaak.
Before the co-bill begins DeGraw will open several shows for Billy Joel. His first gig with The Piano Man is Friday at NYC’s Madison Square Garden Arena.
