More Reunion Dates From Nickel Creek

The “limited” spring tour Nickel Creek announced earlier this month marking the trio’s first excursion since 2007 isn’t so small anymore. The initial eight-date schedule has expanded to feature 25 headline gigs along with a few festival appearances.

The bluegrass band broke the news a few weeks ago that its hiatus was over and that new music and a tour were coming soon. Fans have been waiting since 2005 for a new studio album.

Along with the new dates, this week Nickel Creek revealed a release date and name for its new album. The band is taking preorders now for A Dotted Line, due out April 1. (By the way, Nickel Creek posted on Facebook, “We promise it isn’t an April Fool’s prank!) To get an instant download of the tunes “Destination” and “Love of Mine” you’ll want to get one of the exclusive CD, vinyl and T-shirt pre-order bundles available now.
