STS9 Parts Ways With Bassist, Postpones Winter Tour

It’s not turning out to be the best week for fans of STS9.  The band issued a statement saying bassist David Murphy has left the group, resulting in the postponement of its winter tour that was scheduled to begin next week in San Diego.

“In life, the only constant is change.  We try to embrace this is in our music and in our lives and it’s in this spirit that we announce STS9 and bassist David Murphy are parting ways.  We are postponing our upcoming winter tour dates through February.  We’ll miss David and wish him the best on his journey ahead.
