Industry Noize: Snowden Shed Contract Updated
Southaven, Miss., city officials approved Dec. 20 an increase in rent paid by Green Machine Entertainment to lease the 12,000-capacity Snowden Grove Amphitheater.
Promoter Jim Green will pay the city a flat rate of $75,000 for a year – about $6,250 a month – as well as $1 per concert ticket sold.
No fee will be paid to the city for free concerts at the shed.

Green Machine will also be liable for all costs associated with a canceled concert, the Star-Telegram reported.
The city’s previous agreement charged Green Machine $12,500 per show and $800 a month to rent the box office, which generated about $63,000 for the city.
The current agreement could generate up to $100,000 for the city coffers, the paper said.
