Ed Sheeran’s Fall U.K. Tour
The young man with an even younger face will be all of 23 years old when he launches his fall tour. Sheeran has experienced the almost mythical show-biz tale of being an overnight sensation although it took a couple of years since his appearance on the TV program “Later … With Jools Holland” to move up to the arena level. Having spent much of 2013 appearing on Taylor Swift’s tour, Sheeran headlined his own three-night stand at New York City’s Madison Square Garden where he grossed more than $1.6 million. Not bad for a few hours work and a lifetime to prepare for it.
His most recent single, “I See Fire,” was written for the new “Hobbit” film. How cool is that? Plus, he’s up for a couple of Grammys, including a nom for best new artist while his participation on Swift’s Red snagged him an album of the year nomination. Sheeran will release his next album this year.
The fall tour includes two nights in London and Manchester before wrapping in Scotland. Here are the dates:
