Elk Grove Hires Promoter
The Chicago suburb of Elk Grove Village has hired Entertainment Management Group to run its summer concert series.
The village will pay EMG $310,000 to cover performance fees for the five concerts, according to the Daily Herald. The municipality said it will be the biggest series in its history, with America, Survivor, Pat Benatar and Neil Geraldo, John Michael Montgomery and Kenny Loggins.
EMG is run by Elk Grove Village resident Murray Weiner, who has managed the Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series for the village since it began six years ago.
