OneRepublic Plans A ‘Native Summer’
You can get a taste of the band way before its summer tour when OneRepublic appears on tonight’s two-hour fall finale of NBC’s “The Voice” to perform “I Lived” from the group’s third studio album Native. Of course, OneRepublic isn’t exactly a stranger to “The Voice.” The band’s founder, Ryan Tedder, is the show’s in-house songwriter-producer. Tedder has specifically written a song for the show’s winner that the band will perform near the end of the telecast.
OneRepublic will launch the adventure close to its Colorado Springs origin when it takes the stage at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver. With its “Native Summer Tour” playing both sides of The Rockies, OneRepublic is now booked through its late June concert in Wantagh, N.Y.
