Bottle-Throwing Fan Pleads Guilty
A Virginia man pleaded guilty to throwing a bottle that hit reggae star Toots Hibbert during a concert.
William Connor Lewis pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery in Richmond Circuit Court Dec. 12 and apologized for the incident.
He was sentenced to 12 months in jail with six months suspended by the judge.

Hibbert, performing with Toots & The Maytals, was hit in the head by a vodka bottle during a concert in Richmond in May.
He filed a $20 million lawsuit in August against several organizations alleging inadequate security at the concert.
