A Musical Affair With Il Divo

The classic crossover group is supporting its sixth studio album, A Musical Affair. The LP features Il Divo’s interpretation of songs including “Some Enchanted Evening” from “South Pacific,” “Bring Him Home” from “Les Misérables” and “Tonight” from “West Side Story.” Il Divo had some help from a few Broadway and pop artists on the album with appearances from Barbra Streisand, Kristin Chenoweth, Nicole Scherzinger and Heather Headley.

Before joining Il Divo Marín and Miller were each involved in musical theatre.  Marín played Marius in “Les Misérables” when the show first premiered in Spain in 1993 while Miller took on the rule of Rodolfo in “La bohème” in 2003.

“It has been so inspiring to work with such legendary songs from the world of Broadway musicals for our new album,” says Bühler. “We can’t wait to now perform them in our own style to our fans around the world.”
