Norteño Bus Loaded
Police arrested eight men after finding more than 630 pounds of cocaine aboard a Norteño band’s tour bus in South Texas.
The bus of Alamo-based Grupo Zinzzero was stopped at the Falfurrias checkpoint, where police found what they estimated to be more than $7 million worth of the drug.
All eight suspects face charges of drug possession.
Bundles of the drug were found in a hidden compartment near the center of the bus.
The band is not in Pollstar’s artist database.
