AIM’s Day Of Label-Gazing
The Association Of Independent Music will hold its second Indie-Con at London’s Glaziers Hall Nov. 20.
The annual gathering, which covers all areas of independent label business, is supported by Clear Sound & Vision.
It promises an in-depth look at all the key areas essential for running a successful independent music business, offering networking and learning opportunities.
Last year 300 independent music professionals turned up to the event, a two-day conference held early July.
So far the topics on the agenda include managing a brand, getting into publishing, the art of A&R, music marketing, and the future physical music and retailing.
The speakers include “Last Shop Standing” author Graham Jones, Daniel Miller (Mute), Korda Marshall (Infectious Music), BBC Radio One presenter Jen Long and Music Week editor Tim Ingham.
