Opening acts Future and Miguel were out of luck along with the crowd of fans that had been waiting inside the venue, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

“Due to the elaborate nature of tonight’s show and an unexpected technical issue, Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’ concert at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has been postponed until Wednesday, December 18,” a statement on the venue’s website said.

The technical problem reportedly involved a catwalk that Drake walks back and forth on during his set that extends over the stage.

The performer was said to be concerned the catwalk could malfunction and land on the audience, according to TMZ.

Tickets for the Oct. 19 Philly show will be honored at the rescheduled show.
