Reggie And The Full Effect To Affect Winter

Reggie, otherwise known as The Get Up Kids keyboardist Jim Dewees, will be touring with his Effect comrades in support of No Country For Old Musicians, scheduled to drop Nov. 19.   

Described as the last album “to ever be recorded” at Black Lodge recording studios in Eudora, Kan., No Country For Old Musicians includes guest appearances by a few of Dewees’ friends.  My Chemical Romance founders Frank Iero and Ray Toro perform on the disc with the former supplying guest vocals on several songs while the latter lends his guitar skills on two tracks.  Also adding their vocal skills are Taking Back Sunday lead singer Adam Lazzara, singer/songwriter Allison Weiss, and Sean Ingram from Coalesce.

“Writing and recording Reggie And The Full Effect for me is like finding your best friends again after years of being away and being able to pick up right where you left off … and they brought snacks,” Dewees said.

The first single from No Country For Old Musicians is a little ditty called “Revenge Is A Dish Best Served At Park Chan-Wook’s.”

The tour will also feature New Jersey’s Dads along with special guests.  At this time there is no word as to whether they will bring snacks as well.  But here are the dates:
