Gov’t Mule Reveals Second Leg
Gov’t Mule members Matt Abts, Danny Louis, Warren Haynes and Jorgen Carlsson will have new music to play. The band’s latest effort is a double-album called Shout and features an all-star lineup, including Dave Matthews who appears on a special version of “Forsaken Savior.” The new track debuted on the Wall Street Journal’s website in two forms – with and without Dave. Both recordings are included on Shout. Click here for the tracks.
Who else is on Shout? The guest list has a very impressive collection of artists such as Elvis Costello, Dr. John, Ben Harper, Toots Hibbert, Glenn Hughes, Jim James, Myles Kennedy, Grace Potter, Steve Winwood and Vintage Trouble’s Ty Taylor.
Shout drops Sept. 24 on Blue Note.
