MSG Shows Off The Forum
MSG, whose flagship venue is the iconic
The venue will have flexible seating ranging from 8,000 to 17,500, a support system featuring a “sky deck” to accommodate shows with large productions and “one of the largest general admission floors in the country” with 8,000 square feet.
A large concession area will be on the floor, behind a glass partition.
Chase has been named a presenting partner, and the venue’s Forum Club will be rebranded the Chase Lounge and remodeled with “music-inspired detailing.” Irving Azoff, longtime manager for the Eagles and former chairman of Live Nation, is credited with bringing the Forum to MSG’s attention.
Azoff and MSG Company Executive Chairman James Dolan have had a long relationship.
MSG invested in Azoff’s Front Line Management, and Azoff helps book Dolan’s vanity project, JD & The Straight Shot.
The Forum expands MSG’s reach to the West Coast. The company has six other venues spread across the country, from Radio City Music Hall in New York to Chicago Theatre in Illinois.
