A Few More Postal Service Stops
The Postal Service has had a good month so far. The electro-pop group launched its reunion tour April 9, playing sold out gigs in Nevada and California, in addition to taking the stage at Coachella. April 9 was also the same day the 10th anniversary edition of the band’s one and only LP, Give Up, was released in the U.S.
And now the duo has more dates to do, with help from a full band featuring Jenny Lewis (Rilo Kiley, Jenny & Johnny) and Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Bright Eyes).
Here are the new gigs:
July 18 – Seattle, Wash., KeyArena At Seattle Center
July 20 – Santa Barbara, Calif., Santa Barbara Bowl
July 21 – San Diego, Calif., SDSU Open Air Theatre
July 23 – Los Angeles, Calif., Greek Theatre
July 24 – Los Angeles, Calif., Greek Theatre
Big Freedia supports July 18-23 and Divine Fits open July 24.
Presale tickets for these dates, in addition to a previously announced July 16 show in Vancouver, will be available through the Postal Service’s website beginning April 24 at 10 a.m. local venue time. As an added bonus to getting your tickets early, you’ll save money on ticketing fees.
Tickets for Vancouver and San Diego on sale to the general public April 26. The rest of the dates go on sale April 27.
