More U.S. Dates ‘Out There’ For Paul McCartney

A very happy Friday to Paul McCartney fans in Tulsa, Okla., and Washington, D.C. Yep, that rascal has done it again! A day after adding one additional stop to his “Out There” world tour, we’ve now gone two more dates to add to his itinerary.

Of course, it really is a brilliant plan to add just a date or two at a time. More press for Macca and it keeps fans’ hopes up that maybe, just maybe, their city could be announced next.

The Tulsa, Okla., gig is scheduled May 29 at BOK Center. McCartney plays Washington, D.C., July 12 at Nationals Park. The former Beatle previously played BOK Center in August 2009 as the only arena show of his 2009 stadium tour. That year was also the last time he played D.C.

Yesterday McCartney announced he had booked his first-ever show in Austin, Texas. He’ll do his thing at the “Live Music Capitol of the World” May 22 at the Frank Erwin Center.

Previously announced U.S. dates include July 9 in Boston and his performance at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn., sometime during the June 13-16 festival. International dates are booked in Brazil, Poland, Italy and Austria.

Tickets for Tulsa and D.C. go on sale to the general public April 12 at 10 a.m. local time. An American Express cardmember presale begins April 9 at 10 a.m.
