Strings & Sol No. 2

The destination music vacation south of the border is back for year No. 2 with Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams with The Travelin’ McCourys and Greensky Bluegrass, all playing for you on a pristine beach.  What’s not to like?

Presented by Cloud 9 Adventures – the same folks who bring you Holy Ship!, Jam Cruise and Mayan Holidaze – Strings & Sol takes place Dec. 11-15 at the Now Sapphire resort in Puerto Morelos on the Riviera Maya, Mexico.  Located approximately 25 miles south of Cancun Airport, you get gorgeous ocean views framed by a picturesque fishing village along with music.  Lots and lots of music.

For instance, Yonder Mountain String Band will perform three times during Strings & Sol, including one concert at sunset.  Expect two performances from everyone else, including closing shows by Railroad Earth and Leftover Salmon.

Of course, all those Now Sapphire luxuries will be yours for the taking, including an on-site spa, gourmet restaurants and more.  It’s four days of paradise right before Christmas, an excellent chance for you to lay claim to most excellent bragging rights when you mingle with family members during the holiday season.
