Devendra Banhart From Coast To Coast

Devendra Banhart is launching a North American headline tour in May. The tour announcement comes a week after the folk singer/songwriter released his eighth studio album, “Mala,” on Nonesuch Records.

And as the headline says, there are indeed dates on both coasts, including more than half a dozen gigs in California. He’s also thrown in a few stops in Colorado, Arizona, Minnesota, Illinois and Michigan as well as a handful of Canadian gigs.

Austin City Limits Festival, Zilker Park, Austin, TX

The excursion includes a May 8 gig with Of Montreal as well as an appearance at Sasquatch! Music Festival, which is scheduled May 24-27 in George, Wash. The fun begins May 4 in Aspen, Colo.
