Lil Wayne Reportedly Hospitalized For Seizures
According to TMZ, “sources close to the rapper” told the gossip site that Lil Wayne was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffered the seizures Tuesday night. He was released early Wednesday morning and is reportedly “doing much better now.”
In late October TMZ reported that the rapper suffered “seizure-like symptoms on a private jet,” forcing it to make an emergency landing in Texas. He reportedly checked into a Texas hospital that afternoon and was released by 6 p.m. local time.
His representatives later sent out a statement saying he was hospitalized “for a severe migraine and dehydration.”
The next month Lil Wayne talked to MTV about his treatment plan, saying he was on seizure medication and that doctors told him to drink four water bottles daily.
Lil Wayne’s 10th studio album, I Am Not A Human Being II, is due out March 26. To accommodate the release date, the rapper’s European tour was postponed last week from March until October. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows. The tour now begins Oct. 9 at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland.
