The Parlotones ‘Shake It Up’
Changes are afoot for The Parlotones. An arena-packing band in South Africa, The Parlotones will be playing clubs on their upcoming U.S. jaunt. For the band members it’s a return to their early roots with the tour giving them a chance to break down barriers and get up-close-and-personal with fans.
With the band supporting their newest EP, expect a full-length album to arrive in late summer.
KROQ’s Stryker recently gave The Parlotones a guided tour of the band’s newly adopted Los Angeles home.
The Parlotones will play three gigs over two days at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Beginning with a March 15 2:30 p.m. show at Rusty’s, the band stops at The Rattle Inn at 8 p.m. that evening. On March 16 the group will do a set at Old School.
