Big Boi’s Big 2013 Tour

Big Boi has a ton of dates coming up – and this isn’t some lie or rumor. You might have noticed his name popping up on some recent festival announcements. Now the rapper has more than 40 North American dates booked from April through June.

The Outkast member has a new album to promote. Big Boi’s second solo LP, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, was released in December via Purple Ribbon Records and Def Jam Recordings.

The album features guest appearances from acts including Ludacris, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Little Dragon, B.o.B., Killer Mike and Kelly Rowland.

Killer Mike is coming along with Big Boi as his support act on the “Shoes For Running” tour.

The adventure begins at Athens’ Georgia Theatre April 18. Marking Big Boi’s first full-fledged tour since 2011, the excursion will take him all over the country with gigs in California, Kansas, New York, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Utah and more.

Festival appearances include Beale Street Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival and NXNE Festival. Big Boi has also secured a spot at July’s Forecastle Festival in Louisville, Ky., which has yet to announce its daily schedule.
