Kid Rock, Willie Nelson & Trace Adkins: ‘We’re All For The Hall’
The past three “We’re All For The Hall” concerts raised approximately $1.5 million for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Museum director Kyle Young explained that the funds “go toward our operating expenses, directly funding the care of our collection, exhibitions, programs and more.” The 2013 event returns to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena April 16.
Country Music Hall of Fame member and Museum Board President Vince Gill, who created the artist-led fundraising initiative “All for the Hall,” is the event’s co-musical director along with Urban, according to the Tennessean. Both stars will also perform.
The “Outlaw” lineup also includes Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Rosanne Cash, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Loretta Lynn, Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, Billy Joe Shaver and Hank Williams Jr.
“The purity in making music on your own terms – to create art in your own way – for me, is at the heart of the outlaw spirit,” Urban said. “It’s those outlaws that we celebrate this year, who not only made it possible for a guy like me to do what I love, but who play a pivotal role in the strength of country music’s diversity.”
A fanclub presale for members of The ‘Ville begins Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. CST. Tickets go on sale to the general public March 1 at 10 a.m. CST.
