Hall & Oates Can Still Go For That
With hits like “Kiss On My List,” “Private Eyes,” “Rich Girl” and “Sara Smile,” Hall & Oates virtually owned Top 40 radio during the late 1970s and early ’80s. Thirty-plus years later the duo is still rockin’ strong as they prove those songs are as timeless today as they were back in the days of when “Dallas” ruled TV and an actor by the name of Ronald Reagan moved into the White House.
The boys are calling their upcoming road trip the “Do What You Want, Be What You Are” tour, which, coincidently, is also the name of their 2009, four-CD box set. With a moniker like that you can expect to hear plenty of hits on this outing.
This time around fans in Ohio, Michigan, Florida and North Carolina will be spending evenings with Hall & Oates. Beginning in Akron, Ohio, in late February, stops include Battle Creek, Mich.; Durham, N.C.; and Florida locales Orlando, Panama City and Clearwater.
